The Challenge
They wanted better.
The family behind MetaRaft faced a harrowing challenge when Gustavo's son, Antonio, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at age three. During this dark period, they realized that while they could afford medical and household bills, other families were not so fortunate. Witnessing other parents working overtime to manage growing medical costs, which limited the precious time they could spend with their sick children, was eye-opening. This personal experience was the catalyst for creating MetaRaft, providing a meaningful way to help families around the world struggling with the financial burdens of life-saving medical treatments.
Solution
We gave them better.
To assist families in need, MetaRaft was created as a charitable solution, leveraging NFT technology. The platform releases 10,000 NFTs at each minting event, which people can acquire through a minimum donation to the Bill Me Foundation. This innovative approach not only raises funds but also engages donors through a sweepstakes system, where a subset of the NFT holders are randomly chosen to receive a financial gift, dubbed Antonio's Gift, with the potential of up to 100,000 USDC each mint. The net proceeds are then used by the Bill Me Foundation to support individuals, families, and entities facing financial hardships due to medical treatments.
